Glass look acrylic is the perfect replacement for glass window panes, combining the clarity and colour of glass, with the durability and weight of an acrylic sheet. Glass effect acrylic sheets can be used in almost every setting that glass panes are, from shed windows to panels for greenhouses.
Our glass look acrylic is created to replicate the look of real glass, adding a green tint to the sheets, only fully visible when looking directly at the edges. This subtle green tint imitates the appearance of real glass. Our glass look acrylic can be used to great effect to fabricate products where the look of real glass is required.
Weighing half the weight of glass, and providing five times with the impact strength, this is the perfect choice for those after a minimal modern approach, without the strain of working with glass.
Our glass look Perspex® acrylic sheets give excellent optical clarity, providing a similar light transmission to glass. With a subtle green glass-like edge, acrylic is best used to replicate standard uses for glass.
Ten times stronger than glass, our Perspex® acrylic sheets are shattering resistant, as well as long-lasting making them ideal for use in both indoor and outdoor projects. You can expect at least 20 years of continued use from your sheeting without showing signs of deterioration.
With both UV and weather resistance, the sheets can withstand the most severe weather conditions, making them fantastic alternatives to glass windows.
Clear cast acrylic weighs half as much as an equivalent glass pane, making installation, transportation, and handling an easier, and more attractive option.
Acrylic is easy to fabricate and can be cut, drilled and shaped to any requirements, so it’s a flexible material to work with. The cut surfaces can be polished and sanded easily for a more professional finish to your sheeting.
Glass look Perspex® sheets are equally easy to clean, with just warm soapy water and a microfibre cloth needed to ensure a hygienic finish.
Glass look Perspex® sheets can be recycled all the way back to the original raw material, the monomer. We additionally offer 100% recycled acrylic sheets in 3, 5 and 10mm thickness for those wanting to reduce their environmental damage.

Frequently Asked Questions
What tolerance do you cut to?
We cut to a tolerance of +/-1mm.
What is your delivery timescale?
3-7 working days.
Is mirrored acrylic like normal mirror?
Mirrored acrylic is a flexible material, and needs to be attached to a perfectly flat surface. We recommend attaching it to MDF or something similar, making sure the adhesive is spread in a thin even layer across the acrylic. we also recommend using the 5mm thick acrylic as it is more rigid.
Can you cut any shape?
Yes, in acrylic. We will shortly be able to also cut any shape in polycarbonate as well.
What's your standard radius corner?
20mm, but we can cut to your requirements.
How many holes do I need in my acrylic?
1 per corner should be sufficient for smaller pieces. You might want to consider an extra hole in the middle if your sheet is larger.
Can I cut acrylic?
Yes, you can. Just take it slow and easy.
Can I put acrylic behind a hob?
Not if it is gas or electric. You need a gap of 5cm between an induction hob and the acrylic.
Do you fit the acrylic?
No, we don't. We do provide some templates which should help you to take your measurements. The acrylic is easy to install by any competent DIYer.
