It’s a lightweight option that can be fabricated and installed easily, as well as being more impact-resistant and shatterproof. Great for use outside, acrylic is UV-absorbent and can also withstand the elements without any impact to the quality of the material.
It has a high temperature-tolerance, as well as being able to withstand knocks without showing any signs of damage, so they’re perfect for busy or high footfall areas where safety and stability are of key importance. Coloured acrylic sheeting has an appealing high-gloss surface with a great depth of colour, making it ideal for use in furniture, signs, wall protective cladding and for splashbacks, among countless other applications.
