We have a variety of different plywood sheet types to choose from which we can cut to any size or shape using our CNC router for a greater level of accuracy and repeatability. Whatever shape you have in mind, we can cut it – just send us your drawings, in either CAD or a sketch format, and we can create it for you. In addition to our ability to cut any shape or curve to plywood, our CNC router can be used for rebating, pocketing and hole cutting on virtually any sheet material. We also provide the option of laser cutting, CNC engraving services and miter cutting to your plywood sheets as well.
Using state-of-the-art UV printers, we can print full sheets of plywood in one go, providing a professional finish at a much faster turnaround time than painting. We currently only list 8x4 sheets (2440x1220mm) but we’re able to purchase and cut sheets of up to 2000x3000mm. Get in touch with our team today to discuss your specific requirements. With optional next day delivery, your products can be with you quickly. If you are placing larger orders, we deliver throughout most of the UK using our own transport service. Have a larger ongoing project taking place? Please contact us to discuss bulk discounts and regular supply orders.

18mm Marine Plywood Grades
Wood comes in a variety of grades; we offer the grades listed below. See our plywood grading guide for more information on the types available.
Marine plywood is for use in environments where the wood is exposed to moisture for extended periods. The type of wood we offer has a high-quality BB/BB face grade and is well-suited to demanding environments such as gardens, bathrooms and parks as well as for roof supports and advertising panels.
Advantages of 18mm Marine Plywood
Marine plywood is a great wood to work with, with a smooth and knot-free surface that’s ideally suited to staining, painting and lacquering for a professional finish. This variety of plywood provides a high-quality finish at a more affordable price and is durable enough to ensure that whatever application it is used for will stand the test of time. The process of producing marine plywood minimises the risk of water and moisture getting trapped within the layers of the plywood, which reduces the risk of rotting and delamination. This provides a hard-wearing wood that can cope more effectively in humid and wet conditions without losing structural integrity.
18mm marine plywood delivers excellent versatility and is suitable for a wide range of applications and environments, from interior projects such as in bathrooms or areas where moisture is present, to external applications such as sheds and walkways. It’s easy to work with, as it can be bent into shape without cracking, and can be screwed or nailed into place without splintering. The pliability of marine plywood makes it a more adaptable material compared to standard plywood sheeting. The thickness of this particular plywood makes it more sturdy in areas where weather conditions make ordinary woods susceptible to bending or warping, delivering a more secure final product that will remain in place for long periods of time.
Applications of 18mm Marine Plywood
18mm marine plywood is commonly used for shop fitting and roofing, as well as for floors, boarding up shop fronts or windows, and for wall sheathing. The thickness of this plywood also makes it ideal for exhibition stands, racking and for packaging and storage containers, providing security and stability. 18mm marine plywood is well-suited to site hoarding, as it can cope with various weather conditions such as wind and rain without deteriorating, plus it’s thick enough not to crack or split when exposed to high winds.

What tolerance do you cut to?
We cut to a tolerance of +/-3mm.
What is your delivery timescale?
3-7 working days.
Is mirrored acrylic like normal mirror?
Mirrored acrylic is a flexible material, and needs to be attached to a perfectly flat surface. We recommend attaching it to MDF or something similar, making sure the adhesive is spread in a thin even layer across the acrylic. we also recommend using the 5mm thick acrylic as it is more rigid.
Can you cut any shape?
Yes, in acrylic. We will shortly be able to also cut any shape in polycarbonate as well.
What's your standard radius corner?
20mm, but we can cut to your requirements.
How many holes do I need in my acrylic?
1 per corner should be sufficient for smaller pieces. You might want to consider an extra hole in the middle if your sheet is larger.
Can I cut acrylic?
Yes, you can. Just take it slow and easy.
Can I put acrylic behind a hob?
Not if it is gas or electric. You need a gap of 5cm between an induction hob and the acrylic.
Do you fit the acrylic?
No, we don't. We do provide some templates which should help you to take your measurements. The acrylic is easy to install by any competent DIYer.
