Installing Your Wall Panelling

What You Will Need

• Adhesive
• Spirit level
• Measuring tape
• Caulk
• Wall filler (e.g. Polyfilla)
• Wood primer
• Sandpaper
• Choice of paint colour
• Pre-Cut MDF Wood Paneling Strips

Steps to Install Wood Paneling

1. Layout the MDF wall panels on the floor and group them based on size
2. Using a pencil mark where the MDF wall panels need to be positioned on the wall
3. Apply a thin layer of adhesive on your MDF wall panels and stick to the walls where you have previously marked
4. Use a spirit level to make sure the MDF wall panel pieces are aligned correctly and fix until level
5. Wait to dry
6. When dry, use wall filler to fill any gaps
7. Caulk around all edges of the MDF wall panels making sure to smooth evenly with a clean slightly wet finger or application tool
8. Wait to dry
9. Smooth the areas using sandpaper
10. Apply the wood primer
11. Wait to dry
12. Paint the panels and wall
