What are the advantages of foam board?
Foam board has a wide range of useful benefits that have made it a popular material for so many applications worldwide. It has a smooth and even surface that makes it ideal for printing, whether it’s for signage, advertising boards or artwork. It’s also very lightweight but still incredibly tough, so it provides durability with ease of hanging and fixing to walls or building exteriors. Foam board can be painted, glued, bonded and laminated, making it an incredibly versatile material.
Foam board delivers great chemical resistance and brilliant thermal properties too, as well as being UV resistant, so it useful for both in and outdoor use due to its excellent weatherability. Despite being a lightweight material, foam board has surprisingly high impact and energy absorption properties. The closed cell polyethylene foam also provides excellent moisture resistance. Foam board is available in various thicknesses to suit your requirements, as well as a variety of colours, and it can easily be cut to any size or shape that you need. We can also pre-drill holes to make fitting your foam board even simpler and quicker.
What can foam board be used for?
The compressed nature of foam board makes it a durable product that’s ideal for advertising, signage and information boards, both in and outdoors. The smooth surface of PVC foam board makes it a great material for delivering a clear, crisp image from digital and screen printing. This makes it an excellent product for mounting artwork or photography. Foam board is often used for partitioning and exhibition stands, as well as for estate agent signs and branding for commercial spaces. We sell 3mm foam-board, 5mm foam-board and 10mm foam-board.

3-7 working days.
Is mirrored acrylic like normal mirror?
Mirrored acrylic is a flexible material, and needs to be attached to a perfectly flat surface. We recommend attaching it to MDF or something similar, making sure the adhesive is spread in a thin even layer across the acrylic. we also recommend using the 5mm thick acrylic as it is more rigid.
Can you cut any shape?
Yes, in acrylic. We will shortly be able to also cut any shape in polycarbonate as well.
What's your standard radius corner?
20mm, but we can cut to your requirements.
How many holes do I need in my acrylic?
1 per corner should be sufficient for smaller pieces. You might want to consider an extra hole in the middle if your sheet is larger.
Can I cut acrylic?
Yes, you can. Just take it slow and easy.
Can I put acrylic behind a hob?
Not if it is gas or electric. You need a gap of 5cm between an induction hob and the acrylic.
Do you fit the acrylic?
No, we don't. We do provide some templates which should help you to take your measurements. The acrylic is easy to install by any competent DIYer.
