This combination creates a practical and lightweight material that is workable yet stable in all weather conditions and can be fabricated with ease to create a range of 2D and 3D designs. From interior design, advertising, partitioning or exhibition stands, these sheets are durable, high strength, easy to work with, and provide a cost-effective solution to a wide range of applications.
What are the key features of Dibond Aluminium Composite Sheets?
Dibond aluminium composite sheeting is a pre-finished product that delivers quick and easy installation, with lightweight yet stable properties. It provides great thermal insulation and brilliant machinability, as well as being weather and corrosion-resistant. It’s also a very strong product that offers great impact-resistance. Because of its heat tolerance, it can be used behind a kitchen hob, providing there is a 150mm distance between the heat source and the panel, and it can be drilled or cut with ease using a regular household drill or jigsaw, so it’s easy to work with.
Each sheet is coated on each side, providing a matte and glossy surface for different printing options to suit your desired application. Because of the qualities inherent to both plastic and aluminium, and due to the way the materials are sandwiched together, Dibond retains the positive elements of both materials and will work in a number of different environments, both in and outdoors. This flexibility makes it incredibly beneficial to a wide variety of applications, from signage to long-term displays.
Where can Dibond Aluminium Composite Sheets be used?
A versatile and strong material, Dibond aluminium composite sheeting can be used in numerous different ways. It’s ideally suited to signage and corporate identity or branding, as it can be printed on directly with incredible clarity and vivid colour. Because of the three layers of material fused together, it delivers excellent durability and impact-resistance but also remains lightweight, so it’s perfect for signage or exhibition stands in high-footfall areas. It can be used to great effect for billboards and public signs, as it won’t deteriorate when exposed to the elements, and it can be printed on with ease for a really clear and vibrant sign that sells your business or services perfectly.
In addition to being an excellent printing material for internal and external signs or display boards, Dibond aluminium composite sheets can also be used for a host of other applications including wall cladding or even furniture parts. This flexible sheeting makes a great solution for stairways, elevators and kiosks, as a partition for cubicles in offices, or as false-ceilings or ceiling panels. It can be used for column covers or beam wraps, canopy panels or cladding, and also as parapet wall copings.

Is mirrored acrylic like normal mirror?

What's your standard radius corner?
20mm, but we can cut to your requirements.
How many holes do I need in my acrylic?
1 per corner should be sufficient for smaller pieces. You might want to consider an extra hole in the middle if your sheet is larger.
Can I cut acrylic?
Yes, you can. Just take it slow and easy.
Can I put acrylic behind a hob?
Not if it is gas or electric. You need a gap of 5cm between an induction hob and the acrylic.
