Four times the impact strength of standard acrylic and about half the strength of polycarbonate this material is perfect for a wide variety of projects, at a fraction of the cost.
Designed for functions that require enhanced impact resistance, our Impact Modified Acrylic is suitable for a range of areas, including exterior signage, or displays, to automotive and window glazing.
Impact modified acrylic sheeting is also a great alternative to traditional polycarbonate sheeting. This is due to a higher cost-saving, as well as a wider range of forming temperature, better melt strength, and does not lose colour or clarity due to continual sunlight.
Enhanced with scratch resistance our Impact Modified Acrylic is a strong, durable and hard-wearing plastic, yet remains lightweight and easy to fabricate and install. With the ability to withstand a higher temperature and outstanding laser processing performance, we are able to transform this acrylic into whatever shape, size, or specifics you may be looking for.
Our clear impact-modified acrylic sheets give excellent optical clarity, providing up to 90% light transmission, higher than most types of glass, making it an advantageous option for use in windows or as a skylight.
75 hundred times stronger than glass and four times stronger than our Perspex® acrylic sheets, our impact-modified acrylic sheets are shatter resistant, as well as long-lasting making them ideal for use in both indoor and outdoor projects. You can expect at least 20 years of continued use from your sheeting without showing signs of deterioration.
With a higher impact tolerance to acrylic sheeting, impact-modified acrylic sheets make a stronger, long-lasting alternative to both acrylic and glass.
With both UV, abrasion, and weather resistance, the sheets can withstand the most severe weather conditions, making them fantastic alternatives to glass windows.
Impact-modified acrylic sheets weigh up to five times less than an equivalent glass pane, making installation, transportation, and handling an easier, and more attractive option.
Impact-modified acrylic sheets are capable to be fabricated and altered to any requirements including drilling or shaping. Additionally, Impact-modified acrylic sheets are also able to be perfectly thermoformed without losing the strength or quality to fabricate. The cut surfaces can be polished and sanded easily for a more professional finish to your sheeting.
Clear impact-modified acrylic sheets are equally easy to clean, with just warm soapy water and a microfibre cloth needed to ensure a hygienic finish.

Frequently Asked Questions
What tolerance do you cut to?
We cut to a tolerance of +/-1mm.
What is your delivery timescale?
3-7 working days.
Is mirrored acrylic like normal mirror?
Mirrored acrylic is a flexible material, and needs to be attached to a perfectly flat surface. We recommend attaching it to MDF or something similar, making sure the adhesive is spread in a thin even layer across the acrylic. we also recommend using the 5mm thick acrylic as it is more rigid.
Can you cut any shape?
Yes, in acrylic. We will shortly be able to also cut any shape in polycarbonate as well.
What's your standard radius corner?
20mm, but we can cut to your requirements.
How many holes do I need in my acrylic?
1 per corner should be sufficient for smaller pieces. You might want to consider an extra hole in the middle if your sheet is larger.
Can I cut acrylic?
Yes, you can. Just take it slow and easy.
Can I put acrylic behind a hob?
Not if it is gas or electric. You need a gap of 5cm between an induction hob and the acrylic.
Do you fit the acrylic?
No, we don't. We do provide some templates which should help you to take your measurements. The acrylic is easy to install by any competent DIYer.
